Noam Karstaedt
President
Noam has been an active member of the Israeli venture capital community for more than 10 years, and in 1992 helped pioneer Israel's first life science VC fund, MedMax Ventures. Noam's formal education includes a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics and Engineering from Witwatersrand University in South Africa and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Noam has held numerous consulting and management positions both in Israel and the United States and he was a strategic management consultant at the San Francisco office of Booz, Allen & Hamilton.
Mr. Karstaedt is skilled at successful investing and was part of the management team responsible for the funding of ESC, which is regarded as one of the most prosperous Life Science VC investments in Israel's history, returning more then $150 million on an initial investment of $1M. As President of Denali Ventures, Noam places his extensive formal knowledge of finance and administration and his significant network of contacts behind all portfolio investments. He is recognized as an aggressive supporter of start-up companies in the Israeli life science environment.

Yael Margolin,
Ph.D.
Vice President
Yael Margolin combines a broad scientific education with extensive industry experience. She holds
M.Sc. in Microbiology from Tel Aviv University, a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and was a postdoctoral associate at the Yale University School of Medicine. Yael's formal education at the business management program of the Tel Aviv University Business School is complemented by 10 years of industrial experience at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, the largest pharmaceutical company in the Middle East, with a market cap of $8 billion. At
Teva, Dr. Margolin was predominantly responsible for evaluating investment opportunities for the R&D division as well as for multiple drug development programs. Yael joined Denali Ventures in 1998, where she focuses on pharmaceutical developments and biotechnology.

Ronny
Ginor, M.D.
Vice President
Ron is a graduate of the Elliot School of International Affairs with
a degree in International Economics and The George Washington
University School of Medicine. After publishing postgraduate
research work at The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and
completing an A.I. in Radiation Oncology at Stanford University, Dr.
Ginor combined his clinical and industrial experience in a number of
management and consulting positions. In 1997 Ron moved to Israel in
order to become Director of Clinical Research and Medical
Development at Medinol Ltd., a recognized leader in the
cardiovascular technology market. While at Medinol, Ron was
responsible for the development of clinical protocols, as well as
for interaction with the FDA, European regulatory agencies and key
international partners including Boston Scientific. At Denali
Ventures, Ron focuses predominantly on medical devices, vascular
technologies, computerized medical platforms, and international
regulatory issues
